Jag Dhaliwall works across Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Bangkok and Hong Kong covering Private Equity clients comprising mega funds, pan-Asian funds and Southeast Asia-focused funds. He was formerly a private equity reporter with Bloomberg News where he made his name breaking some of the biggest M&A and corporate finance stories across Asia.
During his 12 years as a reporter in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Tokyo, including time spent at two other media groups, he cultivated a broad network of Private Equity executives, investment bankers and traders. Jag graduated from RMIT University, Australia, with an Honors degree in Accountancy. Jag, who hails from Asia’s food capital Kuala Lumpur, is a die-hard Tottenham Hotspur fan. He also loves dogs and interacting with people of all ages.
Will Tan leads the asset management and hedge fund practice and is active in Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. His clients range from startups and boutique funds to some of the largest investment managers in the world. Prior to executive search, he spent over a decade in sell-side roles including equity research and equity research supervisory in Asia and North America.
Will started his career with Salomon Smith Barney after graduating from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics (Magna Cum Laude).
A Singaporean, Will is a fan of FC Barcelona and the LA Lakers. He plays pick-up basketball regularly.
Paulina Hatta specializes in Investment and Strategy roles. Her clients include private equity funds, family offices, corporates, and tech start-ups in Southeast Asia.
Paulina was previously an investment banking analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at Merrill Lynch (New York) and a Private Debt Analyst at Ares Management (New York). She received her MBA from INSEAD and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business, NYU.
Indonesian by birth, Paulina enjoys travelling and sampling the world’s gins and wines.
